The Tightropes are a steaming blues driven funky-ass trio, and they know how to play! “I jam, therefor I am” would be an appropriate second name for the band: their live performances are packed with on-the-spot improvised pieces of soul. This is supplementing their strong songs from their 2019 release ‘On Fire’ and earlier work.

The band’s playing style is in the same tradition as The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, or any other power-trio from that era. However, the band added a spoonful of deep funk a la Sly or Meters to this concept, which gives rise to their characteristic sound and vibe.

These boys are a force to be reckoned with, and their joy of playing together is bound to put a smile anyone’s face.
